The Hidden Gem Event Venue is a full-service facility situated near Lansing in the lovely community of Holt. This venue offers an event space, catering, bar services and more for weddings and other special occasions. Though this private venue features a secluded atmosphere, it’s not far from a main road and is only minutes away from Lansing. With plenty of amenities, including wheelchair access, parking, catering, and others, the facility is well equipped to bring all kinds of dream weddings to life. 

Previously known as Charlar Place, The Hidden Gem Event Venue is now owned by Ernest and Carmen Tisdale. Their dream of owning a venue started more than 10 years ago as they planned their wedding together. Today, they are delighted to share this treasure of a property with to-be-weds in search of a picturesque setting where they can celebrate their love. The facility’s interior has been updated and features expansive spaces and grandiose chandeliers that help create a truly elegant atmosphere. Equally as breathtaking is the outside, complete with immaculately manicured landscaping, a lush garden, and a tranquil pond. 

The Hidden Gem Event Venue is able to host festivities of varying sizes, from intimate gatherings to groups with up to 150-200 people (room capacity determined by setup). Ernest and Carmen have several different wedding packages available, designed to suit a range of needs and budgets. They can also create custom packages to accommodate couples’ one-of-a-kind requirements.
